Mechanical GATE Cut Off

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering conducted every year in the months of February and March tests the ability of candidates in comprehending the knowledge gained in undergraduate engineering courses. GATE 2016 cut off marks are the minimum qualifying marks to be scored by a candidate to become eligible to the various post-graduate programs offered by various IITs, IISc and other leading institutes across the country. The Cut off for GATE 2016 will vary from institute to institute as it relies upon the seat intake and the number of students applying among other factors. The GATE Cut Off Marks are generally common to most of the IITs while it is determined by the CCMT for admissions to the various NITs across the country. The cut off marks vary across disciplines and across categories. The GATE 2016 Cut Off Marks will be determined by assessing various factors like normalization among papers etc.
